Plymouth Music Accord May Music Festival 2007

The Plymouth Music Accord, together with Plymouth City Council and a range of local sponsors invite you to join us in the second annual Plymouth May Music Festival.

Classical

Orchestral, vocal, choral and solo recital music of all types from Beethoven to Boogie, including the renowned pianist Stephen Hough giving a solo recital on the Guildhall's Steinway.

Jazz

Cruise up the Tamar with local Jazz Band Trevor Meen and his Broadway Syncopaters, hear the Sussex Jazz Kings at The Mermaid or celebrate the finale with Jacqui Dankworth and the SWS Strings.

Folk

Come and hear the world-famous Waterson:Carthy in concert

Promotes the appreciation and performance of music in the City of Plymouth and surrounding areas. Most local orchestras, choirs, concert promoters and many venues are members of the PMA.
